Introduction to Emotional Intelligence
Emotional Intelligence can have a powerful impact in unlocking our potential.
The latest scientific research indicates that emotional intelligence is a differentiator in long term success, even more than IQ.
Emotional Intelligence (EI) is being smart with feelings. It’s the ability to use emotional information to guide thinking and behaviour and achieve one’s goals. The skills of emotional intelligence have been linked to leadership and managerial success in the workplace. As the pace of change and demands increase in our work lives, our ability to understand and handle our emotional states becomes more important, helping us to manage stress, make better decisions and improve emotional and social functioning.
In this interactive, experiential learning workshop, participants will learn how to harness the EI skills needed to attain professional and organizational goals. A customized EI profile (EQi 2.0) is included as well as the option for follow up coaching with an ICF Certified Executive Coach.
